My final post of 2021 is a winter landscape taken at Londesborough Park on one of the rare bright days in December .
I want to wish all my contacts a Happy New Year and to thank you all for all the visits and comments you have made to my photo stream this year they are much appreciated . It looked at one point this year that we were through with the worst of Covid but Omicron has set us back again sadly. But 2022 is a New Year so lets wish us all “ All the best “

Taken from the cog rail of Mount Washington in New Hampshire. This was during fall and there are varied fall colours on the mountains. Mount washington by itself has very little color to display. On a side not, it is officially the worst weather in the world.
I knew when I got out of bed this morning things were not just going to go right.

Juvenile Great Blue Heron with Snapping Turtle, Wildwood Lake, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I don't think I've ever seen a Great Blue Heron with a Turtle before. We haven't had any rain in a while and the lake is low. It seems that the waterfowl are resorting to alternative sources for food.

I saw something today, it reminded me of you.
Everything fucking reminds me of you.
I saw a picture of a cat. An ad for a bath.
There was this one time, I think it was like
something we once laughed at.
The worst is when it's a song, I can't shut it off
when it's one of those. It gets stuck in a loop,
or is that just me, where for those three minutes
and twenty seven seconds, there's someone else
that I swear is inside of my head. Or even worse, yours.
I stare at your name in those moments,
once or twice I've slipped up and said something stupid.
Just to get over the space, until I can crawl along.`
I let it take my breath, let the tears fall all over again,
then I remember that meme I saw again.
Never let someone tell you twice, that they don't want you.
I swear I can hear your voices laughing at me, as I read it again.
Love is deaf, dumb, and blind, and some nights.. I'm the queen of it all.
This massive granite monolith greets visitors to Yosemite Valley. This photo was taken in early February, before the worst winter storms dropped many feet of snow and forced Yosemite National Park to close due to flooding.

when I was sitting pond side and saw this floater. Couldn't figure out what it was from a far. I had hoped it would float in closer but no. Did the best I could with what I had. 1 feather wrapped itself around a leave, then it began to drift into the other. 2 of My favorite floaters to photograph. How Lucky is that.
Trying to sell our house and of course the market has taken a turn for the worst. A few months back you would sell so quick it would make your head spin now, I'm get grey waiting. Interest rates are at there highest in over 20yrs. After Ray's strokes we can no longer stay here, Too much house to take care of. Trying to find nice condo. Did find 1 but we had to back out of as house hadn't sold and last thing we needed was to pay for 2 places. Things will work out. Faith I do have.

The same procedure every year. Two applications are required to fly a drone in Thailand. A kind of driving licence or personal licence from the CAAT and a specific drone licence from the NBTC. Both applications require a lot of paperwork, forms have to be filled out and uploaded, photos with serial numbers, entry documents, an insurance confirmation, a residence address. If all goes well, the application to the CAAT has already been approved before the trip and so the application can be submitted to the NBTC with the entry stamp on the day of arrival. Ideally, processing will take less than half a day and you will then be sent a transfer order. The fee is 224 baht including bank charges. In the end, you have two certificates that allow you to fly a drone legally. I wouldn't do it without the certificates, because if the worst comes to the worst, you are covered, especially in the event of an accident.

The Presidential Range is a mountain range located in the White Mountains of the U.S. state of New Hampshire. Containing the highest peaks of the Whites, its most notable summits are named for American presidents, followed by prominent public figures of the 18th and 19th centuries. The Presidential Range is notorious for having some of the worst weather on Earth, mainly because of the unpredictability of high wind speeds and whiteout conditions on the higher summits. Because of the poor weather conditions, the Presidential Range is often used for mountaineering training for those who go on to climb some of the world's highest mountains, including K2 and Everest. Pulhapanzak waterfall, Honduras, taken under very challenging light and with water drops falling on the lens every now and then, best to visit in cloudy weather, but there won't be a rainbow in that case, anyway I visited on a weekday and had the whole place to myself, easily accessible by car though the road is a dusty pothole ridden mess for the last part.

Red Fox
The Red Fox, Vulpes vulpes, is the largest of the true foxes and the most abundant wild member of the Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. It is listed as least concern by the IUCN. Its range has increased alongside human expansion, having been introduced to Australia, where it is considered harmful to native mammals and bird populations. Due to its presence in Australia, it is included among the list of the "world's 100 worst invasive species".
