Finally figured out how to get this photo off my phone. This is from our two weekend mega-workshop in Feb. 2009 with Giba, the founder of the worldwide family of Batala Brazilian percussion bands. We had daily potluck lunches to keep us going for 5-6 hours straight while Giba worked us to death on the "number" song !

Dead Moon have announced they are to split after almost 20 years together...

2006-12-13 - AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM DEAD MOON

After 20 yrs, Dead Moon is retiring. It has been a journey we will always treasure and feel that a worldwide family has emerged in its place. Dead Moon became much bigger than the band itself, it became a DIY underground hopeful for a lot of people. The candle is still burning!
