Lots of dark places out there. Lots of places of light as well! People tend to see the dark much more than the light. Pity. On the other hand, there's no shadow without a light and no light without a shadow...

This is Tidda jumping off an approximately 10-foot cliff of sand. I did have the camera with me and I'm glad I did catch it (sort of), but I definitely don't want to encourage her doing this as I'm afraid she could really hurt herself. In the beginning she did it multiple times per walk - I think it's just out of sheer exuberance at finding herself on a wide open beach feeling safe and happy! She does it less now but I'll certainly be glad when the summer winds shape those dunes back into rounded hills and make such leaps impossible.

They, the Dolphins, of the Genoa aquarium, do not need a mask while they look at us humans without lip communication but only with sight. The aquarium was inaugurated in 1992 and is one of the largest in Europe. All the animals present are cared for by specialized personnel with great love. Bottlenose dolphins were born inside the aquarium which has good veterinarians and marine biologists.
Magical Morning Moments - Without doubt, the light produced by a beautiful morning sunrise or the golden glow of an evening sunset (both times known as the 'Golden Hour') are the very best times of the day to think about capturing a subject through your camera lens. If you're fortunate enough to be out and about during these particular times of the day when the conditions are in favour then you're in for a very special treat which will totally boost your images.
