Eternal WIP update:
Got rid of the support beams in the white stripe and commited even more to the blockyness.
Added some more greeble details and also tried my hand at some basic reverse bricking (angled the white stripes for example). It may be a bit ruff with the bigger gaps, but I think it somehow fits the blocky overall-look.
WIP, intersection, north korean resistance versus american resistance, maybe german, some snow, Battle Mech E-20 (not built) and D-19, new vehicle, and perhaps semi, new building, side with intersection town, other side perhaps army depot, suggestions
Well, I posted these pics of my WIP Crisis Commander for my Tau army a while back on Tauonline, but I've never really posted any of my 40k stuff on Flickr. I decided it was time to change that. Anyway, the conversions I've performed on this guy include a Tael style head, modified jetpacks, completely reworked arms, tons of extra armor (mostly from spare stealthsuit parts), and a custom base. Anyway, I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it so far.
WIP of a Harlequin Wraithlord reaper configuration. Still in the first pass stage, cleaning up some small details. trying out various poses to see if any modifications are required.

Here is an angled shot of the updated WIP fighter (compared to version 1.0). The increased width, requiring a complete overhaul, is more in keeping with my original sketches. The cockpit is also revised, using the new dome piece to get the effect I had been looking for.
I made a piece of selvedge-patchwork and have decided to make it into a wallet. I made one before... without much succes, so this time I've consulted online tutorials and will throw myself into this today, this afternoon! Wooohooo!
This is a stash WIP based on the Thomas the Tank Engine precuts a sweet friend sent me. I still want to add blue borders on the sides and then possibly a green border all around. Twin size.
Also thinking about making a lucky rabbit's foot key chain or art installation perhaps.
Still thinking of Beuys and his performance with a dead hare...
symbolism, shaminism, transformation, violence...
Almost finished with my Creepy Pumpkin Girl. She just needs a glow in her head, a missing line on her face and the final touch: the bat on her dress.
I originally spotted this gal at the blog of Early Bird Special (who has done a far more beautiful job with hers, I must say).
The pattern is freely distributed here by the amazingly talented Andrea Zuill.

WIP for the Scottsdale two room schoolhouse. Showing the construction of the first version of the roof.
What do you know? It's nice to spend time on yourself. Tomorrow I'm gonna catch up on some photography work and finish that flickr article.
