Got that face in my latest FireStarToys order (been ordering alot of stuff recently :P), so I thought I'd take this oportunity to show you guys my current WIP: Billy's Azrael. I havn't found The Judge's robe thingy yet, otherwise I will use that, instead of the cape right now, only reason I gave him this was to check if it would work. He will also get a red hood, but I didn't gave him that yet cus I wanted to show the face. XD He will also have new legs, if I can find some. :)
And those damn Cameos... ;)

I think this sketch has taken more time than any other I have EVER done and still a long way to go – I have been working on this for 1.5 hours – still remembering/finding more stuff I bought!
I will post the final version later.... But you can see that I collected (either bought items or gifts or Urban Sketchers freebies) lots of art supplies – and this is not including the sketchbooks!
It is pretty scary to put it all together ...so much stuff...but I was away for 11 weeks!?!
This time I am making a double Irish Chain quilt.
This is actually an easy pattern to follow but there are an awful lot of seams to match!

I just wanted to post a few pictures of my current large scale WIP. I plan for this ship to grow much larger over time, but this is my initial design. This will be the ship mentioned in my Retro-Classic Space builds, the one used by Captain Astro and his crew. I do plan to incorporate all of my retro-classic space (re-imagined) MOCs into this build.
I began a "standard" for this space ship, which consists of modular pieces which can be swapped around using technic pins. Therefore, I will be able to increase the size of this ship at my leisure. Someday, I'll take a disassembled picture, as well as a picture of the interior.
Mostly right now I just want to hear what you all think. I'd love to get some feedback.

I've sanded her lower torso and made some modification on her chest. I have received her new heads and new torso (but I can't take photo right now since my SD card broke -_-')

La bouche n'est absolument pas finie..
Le bleu au dessu sdes yeux lui va si bien je trouve.. Il a été affiné car lors du 1er test le trait était trop épais..
Bref.. tout cela est en cours..
Added a Custom head. The wip is nowhere nearing completion, but i'm not so sure whether to keep on the chest area. More pics, as per usual, soon.
This is the idea I got during the night. It's just a WIP but I'm satisfied of the result ^^ And the colors are not definitive, they are here to help you to see the different parts :)
WIP shots are fun.
The mask is actually attached to the head, not to the wig. I did it on purpose, so I could swap masked and mask-less versions of her.
The armor ribs use trimmed pentagon tiles (22385). The mask uses a small portion from a 4x2 double slope (3299)
I don't exactly like Stud.io for building, but it was pretty helpful for previewing, as it as it allows part overlapping.

There are no 1x2 curved slopes in bright light blue, so I had to craft one. All other parts are genuine. I could have used a medium blue one (which is only slightly darker) but doing non-purist things is funnier 😉
I also tried a trans-clear light blue version of the lasershark, but I didn't like it too much.
My Wraithlord in a Wraithseer configuration. no distinct distortion cannon to break up the silhouette. now I'm considering whether to make parts for each of the Aspect temples. one thing i learnt from making parts for this wraithseer is if the core parts are painted then there would be some ugly paint chips by the time the additional parts are made. which means i should start painting only when i am not going to make more parts for it.
I don't like to post WIPs, but I'll make an exception for this one. The mech itself is done. The frame's sturdy enough and I'm happy with the proportions. The only thing I might change is the legs. Really, I wanted to put this into my Golden Suns company, but I haven't figured out where to put a Direct Fire weapon on it or some sort of movement system. When I get those done I'll take better pictures. Especially since I've got surprise guests today I first learned about yesterday and learned today that they're spending the night.

Got the two smaller Dino sets and immediately wanted the rest. This is one of the best new themes in a while. Still very cluttered-looking, and the base needs reinforcement. The trees are also extremely flimsy. Needs refinement still. Obviously needs more dinosaurs as well.
The most time spent on a specific area was landscaping around the stream, which I then covered by with a bridge. T____T
It's slow going working with stone. It's great to have digital photography as a tool, bringing to light all the spots that need fixing. Time to bust out the chisel :)
Its still a WIP, C&C are welcomed.
EDIT: The door will be on the side and this building wont be a corner piece anymore.
Cannons added, this ship would be played as a classic "ship of the line" blinking in the middle of the enemy lines, firing all cannons to damage as much as possible, use its special ability to control the enemy and scape again before gettin destroyed
I always admired Lego's modular buildings (and moc modulars) but never had the money to buy one myself as I kept spending it for parts for other creations. So I had some white bricks left (some from the PaB wall) and decided to finally build my own. As I was somehow limited on bricks it's only 16 studs wide (half a "regular" modular house). This is still a wip as the interior isn't done and the windows need to be changed. Due to my limited variety of white bricks there aren't many special building techniques other than the tower and the owl wearing Loki's helm.
