According to past research and studies, nearly 80% of all Americans will experience some type of back pain in their lives. The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons believes this as well, as they say 80% of us out there will encounter some type of problem with our back before we...

I did...a little more drastically than the sign suggested perhaps.
Filthy rainy weather, man in front brakes sharply at 60mph, i brake sharply to avoid going into back of him and swerve. Car spins out, crosses (fortunately empty) outside lane, mounts verge at which point i turn again to avoid a head on with concrete wall, drivers side of car bounces off said wall (Hello whiplash...) and turns 90 degrees to end up where you see it here.
The insurance company are pricing repairs...I think it might be a write off...we shall see.
It should be noted, that fortunately I wasn't injured and noone else was involved.

“What is Creative Mondays?
Monday’s are always a drag. The start of a new week, you have to go back to that routine of going to bed early/get up early. If (like me) you have to commute then you prepare for that long journey into work and that long journey back for the first time after a nice two day break.
So to kick off those lousy Mondays, I’m going to get my creative mind flowing in a positive way. Creative Mondays. A chance for me to show off something unfinished or finished that I’ve been working on throughout the previous week.”
I haven’t managed to catch many of the Oscar-nominated “best films” this year but I made it a point to see the musical-drama ‘Whiplash’ starring Miles Teller and J. K. Simmons. First off let me tell you, this film was pretty intense. There are fantastic performances from both Simmons and Teller and an interesting story that could draw anyone in who wants to achieve something to a level that most never reach.
This film is about getting you out of your comfort zone almost from the start and I wanted to convey that with my design. Getting close and personal and with a title that simply shouts out it’s name, it’s certainly a film to be heard just as much as it is seen.

A caricature of a stereotypical melodrama villain as a caricature of a stereotypical affluent New York Gentleman.
Whiplash is one of the most debated and controversial musculoskeletal conditions. This is, in part, due to the often compensable nature of the injury and the fact that a precise pathoanatomical diagnosis is not usually achievable.
Whiplash: Evidence base for clinical practice presents the evidence underpinning the complexity of whiplash associated disorders (WADs), from the specifics of current physiological and psychological manifestations of the condition to broader issues such as compensation and litigation.
This new text will be essential reading for physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, occupational therapy and health psychology practitioners and postgraduate students, as well as practitioners in rehabilitation therapies and primary care.

When the fields are fush with water there is one sight not to be missed, the kambala or the buffalo race that is unique to Dakshina Kannada. This is a unique sport of this region.
The historically famous Koti Chennayya Kambala race is held annually at Moodabidri. At that time Kambala was the event when farmers paid tribute to their gods for protecting their crops. There used to be lot of celebration and games as part of this festive atmosphere. Some say Kambala also marked the beginning of sowing operations for the second round of crops.
Currently its more politically motivated rather than any kind of a tribute.. Kambala has been criticised by animal lovers as inhumane and barbaric due to use of whips on participating buffaloes. Noted animal right activist, Mrs. Maneka Gandhi has expressed serious concerns about the ill treatment of buffaloes during the race. There are huge sums of prize money for the winners along with all round betting for each of the race..
