For whatever reason, I found myself in Chattanooga a few nights ago. I haven't done many night shots for quite awhile and the Walnut Street Walking Bridge in downtown Chattanooga is a great place to do it.
This is a sidewalk just beneath the bridge. I was heading back to my car when I noticed the switchback pattern and the wavy lines on the left. It just struck me as a cool scene.
We watched this evening grosbeak feeding on the Russian olive seeds one day. It was amazing to see it as it maneuvered itself on the branches ... often upside-down ... as it tried to reach the good stuff. Reminded me of the purple gallinules from the south. Fascinating.
