One of my favourite places - Port Campbell National Park, where the Southern Ocean constantly batters the limestone coast of Australia, carving the most beautiful sea stacks away from productive farmland. It's a constant assault that only has one winner: photographers.

A bit of fun for a Saturday night. I was waiting for my train at Bondi Junction one day recently and as there was 10 minutes to wait I ducked upstairs and loitered about the back entrance to the station. This guy was waiting for a bus I think and decided to go for a little walk out of the shade, around the place in the sun, pull a few strange moves and then go and stand in the same place again. He looked way too well groomed and stuff to be a total crazy, but who knows. Right when he was pulling one of his strange moves and I chose to snap him despite my kinder instincts, a car drove past and well, here you go...
Looking like she is cruising along at high speed, this Bulgarian 4-8-2 racehorse is actually standing still. Just as she pulled up to my position, the drivers started slipping furiously, and for several minutes the driver failed to get her moving, all the while thrashing away. The best stationary show I have ever experienced. Thanks to Bernd Seiler of Farrail for another excellent tour.

20/30 Out looking for a place to park my car and try out lightstick 3.0. It was a weird night and everywhere I stopped there were unsavory people about.. I mean other than me... you know. Each time I felt very uneasy about having my camera out in the open for very long. In the end, the light painting test was successful but hardly earthshaking so I'll give you an ambient scouting shot from my first stop. More cars another day.

This is almost an old shot now, but it was an exciting shoot for me. I had two eager models who were fantastic; each brought something different to the shoot. Kate had what I call "ATTITOOD". Fantastic energy and a different type of energy to the style I'd had to this point.

Lighting: Canon 580EXII to right of model @ 1/2 power.
Had to do a "Bounce Flash" assignment to experiment with different lighting techniques with a single external flash and I took this one along with a few others. I thought I wouldn't be interested in flash photography but we are learning so much about it that it's hard not to love. There are just so many things you can do with one flash to make a photo look so different. I dig it.
