It's odd to be posting to this occasion. I don't think I fully embraced it while I was here months ago, and while I was gone, I really got depressed due to the fact that there was no geographical interestingness where I was in Australia.
Good to be back in the northwest!

Your view of McGeachy Pond at the McGeachy Conservation Area near Erieau in 2013.
First submission! Yey!
I was at a red light stop yesterday afternoon on my way home. It was raining. I thought the truck's brake light that was in front of me would make a cool bokeh against the rain on my windshield. And presto!

Another look at a Transpora service here, this time in Gloucestershire as they've taken over the running of Wednesdays-only service 781.
This route connects Blakeney to Gloucester, via Cinderford, Blaisdon and Stantway. The inbound service runs in around 10am, with the return journey leaving at 1:15pm.
Enviro 200 MMC YX71OGY was doing the honours yesterday and is seen passing St Nicholas' Church on its entry into the city. The bus previously worked for CT Plus around the Yorkshire area.
The route was running about 10 minutes late which meant it arrived at the same time as Stagecoach's number 11, which you can see following on behind. An unusual sight for a stop which only has a handful of buses a day calling at it!
Operator: Transpora
Vehicle: ADL Enviro 200 MMC
Reg: YX71 OGY
Fleet No: 1331
Location: Westgate Street, Gloucester
Route: 781: Blakeney - Gloucester
Date: May 17, 2023

Happy Wiener Wednesday!
For Window Wednesday, the windows of the observation tower at 'The Mo', Sheringham North Norfolk.
Why 'The Mo' you ask. Originally a house called The Mo, named after Morag the daughter of Sir Thomas Digby Piggott. Acquired by the military in 1940 for troops to practice house to house fighting. Badly damaged, it was demolished in 1946.
Became an open air bandstand and playground.
1996 acquired by Anglian Water for a multi million pound sewerage scheme. In return they built an amenity building on top of a massive storm and overflow tank.
The building houses the Sheringham Museum.

Music Wednesday
This one goes out to the wonderful Candy Church www.flickr.com/photos/boobs22/46753084725/in/dateposted/. As you can see we have similar tastes in music though she is much prettier than I am.
This is part of the record collection that I inherited from my Mom. It was mostly Elvis, doo wop and teeny boy singers that she listened to.
I must admit that I have always loved the music of this era. That original rock n roll of the 50's and 60's. How fast everything was changing and how the genre itself was being shaped is amazing.
The Platters have so many great songs. Where to start?
Here are a couple of true classics and real gems. Enjoy.
