Boundary stone on the perimeter of the Twydall Redoubt, near Gillingham, Kent. The experimental fort was one of two constructed in 1885 and the earthen rampart design was deemed such a success that the ramparts were used in many other forts of the era - the Twydall Profile.

Austerity tank WD 190 departs Castle Hedingham at the Colne Valley Railway. Historically there was never a station on this site, all the buildings have been saved from elsewhere over the years. The signal box behind the locomotive came from Cressing Station, on the branch line to Braintree.
