I have been away from making pics for a bit....but trying to get back in the swing....This is a pic of a statue that we did have at our SL home. (Now in my inventory--as Clive and I tend to "redecorate a lot" LOL!).....but I was struck by this piece for long while.....and this is what my mind saw. 🌸🌸🌸
We seem to be getting dangerously close to world war! Is it worth it???? Do you have any idea how many people lose everything and are left in complete and utter misery? Why can we not find a way to sit down and discuss our situation, without the power of money and greed? It is beyond time to find a solution and if we don't we have no-one to blame other than ourselves!!

The acronym JEATH stands for the primary nationalities involved in the construction of the railway: Japanese, English, Australian, American, Thai and Holland, whereas the Thai name is Phíphítháphan Songkhram Wát Tâi (Wat Tai War Museum).

Es war viel los im Drachenland, da wurde gekämpft an allen Ecken und Spalten, wie man hier sehen kann. Eindringlinge wurden konsequent angegriffen und verjagt. Es war interessant als auch spannend das zu beobachten und bildlich festzuhalten. Meistens haben sie sich so in einander verbissen, dass sie durch ihre schnelle Bewegungen von der Mauer fielen und am Boden weiterkämpften. Was natürlich für mich zum fotografieren gar nicht gut war! ;-))

There was a lot going on in the Dragonland, there was fighting in every nook and cranny, as you can see here. Invaders were consistently attacked and driven out. It was interesting as well as exciting to observe this and capture it figuratively. Most of the time they were so tight that they fell off the wall and fought on the ground with their fast movements. Which of course was not good for me to take pictures!
During our War Horse walk (see previous upload), we did encounter many Dartmoor ponies. This one at least had the same nice brown colour like Joey from the film but missing the white socks and spot on the head. I took this photo next to Drizzlecombe, a fantastic Bronze age settlement with long stone rows, round houses, cists and huge standing stones..very impressive!

Will there be a day, when all leaders of the world will become teachers, who will teach peace to their people?
Will there be a day, when all children of the world will learn peace, and their choices will not be driven by fear or hatred, but reason and love instead?
Will there be a day, when those children will grow up and be the new leaders for us who will create a world, where the idea of war will be as far as the idea of slavery in today's world?
Will there be a day, when in a war-free world, all humans can collectively commemorate the defeat of Mars - God of War, with a statue of remembrance, the marking of the greatest achievement of human mankind?

Fanaticism, patriotism, profitism, all the many delusional psychopathic thought chains and lies leading towards fear, death, destruction and cross-generational suffering. Leaders of nations should know better, speak better and do better - they should all lead and transcend their people further and away from those thoughts for a better world for our children.
In the absence of leaders who serve humanity from the positions they occupy, we all need to be the teachers and leaders to our people and our children instead. We all should talk to them about their choices, about love, about the ways of leaving Mars behind, so one day we can build that final statue of Mars, and send it away from Earth to where it belongs, to planet Mars instead.

Is it an impossible lesson to learn? War only achieves violence, hate, pain, death, loss, mass destruction, lack of health and welfare provision, destruction of our ecosystem, climate and environment disruption, large scale famine and total lack of social order. Is this really what we want for our children? Would it not be better to reach out and find mutual solutions as difficult as that is, surely it is the better way to go!!! We all belong to humanity and share the same desire for peace, we can and must come together and work together not against one another. We are stronger together and when we look out for each other our lives are better and we are happier! Come on my Flickr friends, let's promote peace it is the only way to live!
