Cyclone Tam is just winding down. I got down to my local beach and there was this crazy glow, almost apocalyptic. A local told me she’d never seen anything like it in 25 years.

Just happened to look out the window and see this Cooper's Hawk flying high speed to the opposite side of the street trying catch a squirrel at the bottom of this fence. The squirrel escaped and the hawk then landed on the fence about 35-40 yards away. Grabbed my camera to get a shot of the hawk. But then noticed it was looking on the other side of the fence (2nd photo). The squirrel came up the other side and almost hit the hawk, which flared its wings in surprise (third photo). Only got the squirrel's tail in photo as it ran away. It then went across the opposite side of the fence below the hawk which again flared its wings again as the squirrel appeared for a second on the far right, but I only got its tail again (last photo). The hawk then flew away after the squirrel's counter offensive. Really fun encounter to watch, made my morning. Wish I could have gotten the entire squirrel in a photo, but it happened way too fast. Sorry for such a long story. :-)

A Fuji Photo Film Fujica 35 SE from 1959 vs the Fujifilm X100V

both solidly built and a mere 61 years between them. The older one has some resemblance with the "new" Fujifilm X-Pro series. The new one is a replica mix of several rangefinder cameras, very popular in the 1970's.

While watching TLJ, I really enjoyed the opening space battle between Poe and the Turbolaser-Turrets of the Dreadnaught. I always had in mind to build something of this scene. Most of my grey pieces are recently used in other MOCs, so I had to go with microscale.

Hope you enjoy this build as much as I did with the movie scene :-)

This build is also part of a microscale contest on www.imperiumdersteine.de.
