As I started 3D rendering some years ago, I had plenty of 'downtime' to create and render my own project ideas. this is one of them
This application is a visualiser for the next generation of 3D ground avoidance sonar. It is coded in C#, using DirectX9 for drawing.
The 3D matrices retrieved from the echo sounder are processed and polygonised with the marching-cube algorithm.
The colour display is based on height or intensity of the echo, allowing a visual identification of the obstacles respectively by their depth or material.
The resolution of the processed 3D matrices can be changed arbitrarily.
Files can be displayed in succession via a playback function.
This screen is a polygonisation renderer as a solid mesh with lighting and a colour palette based on depth.

My Buro is an executive business condominium in Cheshire, commissioned by HKR Architects we were asked to produce a photo realistic image of the reception area coupled with an axonometric view of the whole ground floor.

What does it mean to exist? Heidegger writes about Dasein. Everything is related to and in its being fundamentally attached to its own ‘world’, as he calls it. Only in relation with the world something is in, it can be what it is. The hammer is no hammer without nails, Heidegger is no Heidegger without ‘Heidegger-world’. Out of this idea, I wanted to make a photo series about Dasein and decided to focus on humans in relation to their ‘world,’ visible on and around their desks.
