The Mesolens is a revolutionary light microscope for visualising sub-cellular detail throughout larger specimens. This image was a collaboration between Gail McConnell (one of the inventors of the microscope), David Wilcockson and I. This is a hugely compressed version of the 3D, 20GB dataset composed of 180 images taken at different depths through the specimen.
