The Mesolens is a revolutionary light microscope for visualising sub-cellular detail throughout larger specimens. This image was a collaboration between Gail McConnell (one of the inventors of the microscope), David Wilcockson and I. This is a hugely compressed version of the 3D, 20GB dataset composed of 180 images taken at different depths through the specimen. Mosley Street in Manchester, was a winning competition by HKR Architects in which Riot Design (UK) Ltd was commissioned to produce an image showing off the building and how it fitted in with the existing environment.
