Label reads:" HOCK This light, soft wine, refreshingly and well balanced was made from Hunter River Riesling grapes grown on the high slopesof the Barossa Valley. It was made at Chateau Leonay and underwent a controlled cool fermentation. It was made and then matured under cool conditions in our cellars. We suggest this wine be served with almost any food but preferably with light dishes such as seafoods, poultry and salads. In summer it makes an ideal drink at anytime, with or without sodawater, and is most acceptable as a pre-dinner drink on hot evenings. Sevre well chilled but not too cold."

Brisbane, 1974 The White Wines of the 1974 Vintage are light and delicate They show strong varietal flavour, high acid palate and a soft finish. These wines are typical of those made in the wet cloudy years that we occasionally experience in the Hunter Valley. These conditions produce wines that will live for many years in bottle such as the great Whites of 1963 and 1967. This wine was made from Semillon grapes grown on the old vineyard of our Short Flat. The wine was fermented cold in an old German Oak cask to preserve its rich fruity charater, green gold colour and full acid palate. I recommend this as a fine wine and one that will improve greatly with bottle ageing if carefully stored at temperatures not exceeding 18° Celsius. Murray D. Tyrrel Winemaker."

This medium bodied 2001 Shiraz was Matured in new and one-year old American oak barriques prior to bottling. It shows a peppery nose and a palate displays complex spicy Shiraz fruit character. Label reads:" BAROSSA CABERNET Australian Wine A full bodied red table wine vintaged from Cabernet Sauvignon and Hermitage grapes grown on the sandy loam vineyards in the Barossa Valley. The juice was pressure and control fermented on the skins and then carefully pressed from same. The young wine was then matured in specially imported French Oak casks for a period of two years. After final clarification the Barossa Carbernet was then bottled and aged in Cellar cool until marketed. Like its predecessors, the 1957 and 1959 Vintage it is a full and fairly robustred table wine showing a delightful Cabernet Sauvignon bouquet and palate, and together with its pronounced, yet soft, tannin finish, it is a wine to be enjoyed with any red meat and matured cheese. This Barossa Cabernet, like its earlier vintages received many awards at Australian wine shows, and a Gold Medal at the International Wine Show, Yugoslavia."

Label reads:" Tyrrell's Estd. 1858 Hunter River CABERNET PORT Vintage 1977 Made from Cabernet grapes picked late in Vintage from our Pokolbin vineyards. It was fortified to 20.5% alcohol by volume on skins in the traditional Portuguese method using only selected 5 year old Brandy Spirit. The wine is slightly lighter and softer than in the past two years and is close in stlye to the 1974 vintage.
