Visual Recipes came to us with a great idea, and an already huge user base. Their site lets you post pictures for each step of your recipe. You can put up however many recipes you want and the world becomes a better place with more people making good food.
So they were well established and had a lot of traffic, but the design was starting to show it’s age. They also wanted to move to ExpressionEngine under the hood, and while we didn’t implement it; we did give tips and pointers throughout the process. In short, this thing was getting overhauled inside and out!
We designed upwards of 10 different page layouts as well as creating a brand spanking new logo for them. And we coded all those designs in to HTML/CSS and Javascript so they could implement them easily.
It was a long process (see the process), but we’re both thrilled with the results. Visual Recipes now has a fun, playful and unique brand moving forward; no to mention an easily navigable site. The details on this one are everywhere so go check it out in person.

VISUAL LIBRARIES - Leave your Mark.
A collaborative, visual project which encourages you to sign out a Visual Library Book and ‘Leave Your Mark’.
A Visual Library Book is whatever you want it to be, a sketchbook, a journal, a diary, a notepad.
You can ‘Leave Your Mark’ in whatever way you want, ranging from drawing, writing, sewing, adding photographs, markings, printing and sticking. How you make your marks is entirely up to you. All we ask is that you have fun with the different themes.
45 Visual Library Books have been placed in Portsmouth Central Library and each has its own theme ranging from; Portsmouth, My City, When I Open My Eyes, Whilst I Was Waiting, Love, What’s in My Pocket and Memories. The intention is for you to feel free to explore the Visual Library Books and choose a theme that you like.

I saw this sign and immediately wanted it. I see one person, striving for peace and tried to get their point across by doing something as simple as etching two lines on a street sign.
This set of images was done for my Uni project called 'Visual Poetry'. All of these photographs are taken in Swindon Town in a part of the landscape concentrating on different parts. My intentions for these images were to create and capture the emotions and atmosphere we feel when travelling through the landscape, the knowing and not knowing. I want the my audience to feel what they feel if they were in these enviroments the things we notice about the enviroment.

I am using slide film to explore the phrase 'visual poetry'. The is part of my Final Major Project for Art Foundation. I am hoping to use these images for a slide installation as my final outcome.
