No. 5 - 5:- Exploring Churchend, Redbourn.
Church End - The Parish Church of St. Mary.
It is time to go around to the door and explore what treasures lie inside.
The Church was consecrated in about 1100, and the North Aisle, with its Norman arches, was added about 30 years later. In the 14th century the Chancel was enlarged and the South Aisle was built. Further changes were made in the 15th century, but the church remained structurally unchanged until 1989 when the Transept Hall, which provides a parish hall and other facilities, was built to the North of the Church.

In the first week of September 2005, my parents and I took a two-day trip to Victoria, on Vancouver Island. We took the ferry over, visited Butchart Gardens, and stayed overnight in Victoria. I know some of these photos aren't terribly in focus, but it was a new camera.
This is Ginger. I've actually no idea what her name is, nor who owns her, she just visits, pretty much every day. She's a lovely little soul. She tends to hang out with another much younger cat/kitten when the other can come out to play.
Beautiful coast community in the "banana belt" where it's sunny most of the year (unlike a lot of the rest of the California coast).
Participants share what they experienced and learnt on the Common Purpose Frontrunner course at University of Birmingham.
