This place is absolutely amazing. We visited it twice during our time in Sweden. There is more than enough space to stretch ones legs, a lot to see and to learn!

Before we got kicked out. Kyle took us, it was fun.

The Angiang Orphanage Kids had a great time when Santa visited the kids with Library Project of Vietnam & Rotary Club of Winnekta Northfield.

I visited the special Dorothea Lange exhibit at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) yesterday. Her covering of the Japanese Interment during WWII was particularly topical and sobering.

This is probably her most well-known photo of a woman and her family at a migrant camp in California during the dust bowl/depression also quite emotional.

It’s quite easy to spend a day at the OMCA, because it has three sections: Arts, California history and California Natural history and a special exhibits area. Each is quite easy to spend more than a couple of hours in.

I had my grandson with me, so I’ll have to get back again to spend a bit more time in places I missed or didn’t get to spend enough time in.

Joan's brother Marc and his wife Blanca had a young baby: Velentina. Now that we were in Spain we could finally visit them in Arenys de Mar to see the baby.

A photo taken of another photo being taken of my grandfather visiting the grave of his uncle, killed in WW1.

Lantau Island is wonderful. I'd strongly encourage anyone visiting Hong Kong to go here. They've ruined the Big Buddha by commercialising it so much with the cable car and associated guff, but Po Lin Monastery remains a treasure. The gardens are great. Tai O is a fascinating place. People live in stilt houses, the ancestors of sea gypsies from many generations ago. The place is rammed with stands selling anything sea related - mostly dried - as this is the only means of preserving it.

This collage was created on shabby work laptop - no decent RAW convertor and only Picasa for editting, so I decided to create a collage. Will upload complete images at a later date. Collage is cool though isn't it!?

Not as detailed as I had planned, but sometimes Xmas just rolls up on you (and sometimes you have plumbing issues in the house) and you have to compromise!
