Looking down to Weston beach and the East Devon coastline in England.
This famous landmark situated on Plymouth Hoe, Devon, was originally the third Eddystone Lighthouse. Designed by John Smeaton it was a step forward in lighthouse design. It stood for over a hundred years warning ships of the dangers of the notorious Eddystone rocks. It was only removed as the ledge it was built on was eroding. Approximately 75% of it was removed piece by piece and rebuilt where it stands today, the base and foundation remain today as a stubb protruding from the waves next to the latest lighthouse, due to the fact that they were to strong to be removed.
A Sunrise Morning at Castle Drogo, we walked along the pathway to many different viewing platforms. For this view we actually went off the path and ventured down over the bank to find this view, I was watching the sun light up the bank this side while Chris Marshall was facing the other way capturing a more moody shot with mist in the other direction.The views were so beautiful and to watch the sun light up the fore ground with a lone tree and mist in the distance was beautiful. Feeling grateful .

Whilst waiting for the sunset at Royal William Yard, I noticed the beautiful warm light on the houses and the little boat across from the yard. The still waters were reflecting their image, so I quickly took this shot before the light changed. .

Took a visit to Hisley Bridge along the Bovey Valley walk towards the end of autumn. Some nice foliage around.
