This bewick's wren jumped over to a branch near me at Commonwealth Lake. I did what any photographer would do, trying my best to present a nice portrait for the cooperative subject!

Clouds in the sky after a rainy morning. I went to Oak Canyon to get out and smell the fresh air. This set was captured from the same spot on a hill top. I was lucky today. It was a good day.
I had seconds to get this shot. Good thing my camera was on and close to the correct settings.

Went back to the footbridge and snapped another shot of it. Took this shot before back in May, and I love this spot and went back again.
Difference here is that I took this shot with my back up camera, the Sony NEX

I visited north Wales last week (I keep going back) and couldn't resist revisiting Llyn Padarn and the lone tree. This time I managed to capture a snow covered backdrop which brings a different take on a familiar scene.
