An update on Case No. 61215
Yesterday’s Cooking Camp came to a quick end when a body was discovered on the second floor of the diner without it’s head. Coincidentally, the body belonged to the stranger who was inquiring about a missing person a few days ago. This upgrades that case from a missing person to a murder.
People die everyday in Toxia, so this one death means little to me. However, studying this case could give me insights into the murderer, and that is always valuable.
Jack and Pix are fighting over investigating the body. I plan to interview those who knew the victim for information that might help.
So I've been asked to participate in the Paper Crown Pass. From today until the 18th of May, I will reign, and include this golden paper crown in all of my photos. I have a few ideas so far, and this is my first one.
I was thinking of some way to represent the frailty of ego via these gold paper crowns. So, a regalish-looking mermaid falling into a mountain of paper crowns is what I came to. Watch out for those paper cuts, they can be vicious.

While Toxia is plagued by monsters that charge about the city and are soon put down. The Kindred are far more nuanced.
They are among the most powerful of the city. And thanks to a magical blood stone artifact, their thirst is answered without victims.
I believe they kill mainly out of sport. To demonstrate to each other their aptitude, and to remind everyone else their position in the food chain.
