Every once in a while, you stumble into a location in SL that makes you think, "I've been here." But you haven't been to the region before, only to the place in real life. I had that experience today when I wandered into Bethesda Terrace in SL. It has been over ten years since I was there, but I recognized it immediately. (See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Angel_of_the_Waters_Fountain_a...) One of those "oh, wow" moments that reminds me why I like to wander virtual worlds.

The Virtual Apartment simulation is an interactive web-based tool that lets prospective renters view the layout of an apartment in 3d. They can also interact with the layout by zooming, rotating, and placing and arranging furniture in rooms.

That's right I have a Virtual Boy. Cry yourselves to sleep. I won't be hacking this for my upcoming Augmented Reality project. That'd be a shame. Plus enough people are tearing apart old school NESes.

Soldiers from the Tennessee National Guard’s 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment train Jan. 24 in a virtual environment, performing day and night reconnaissance missions.
