Two welcome visitors at Coningsby were a pair of French Air Force Xingu aircraft.

These were most likely transporting personnel to the joint training facility at nearby Waddington, but with the runway of that base closed for reconstruction long term, Coningsby is being used as an alternative.

105 is based at Avord, which is also the French E-3F base.

The Virtual Autopsy Table is a unique new medical visualization tool that allows people to explore the inside of a human body. With its intuitive gesture based interface, the Virtual Autopsy Table totally changes the way users interact with volumetric medical data. Multiple users can interact collaboratively and simultaneously, working with large and complex data to gain deeper understanding and insight into the functions and processes inside the body.

The Virtual Autopsy is already utilized successfully to complement conventional autopsies. It dispenses with the need for invasive surgical procedures allowing medical experts to see things that would be difficult to discover with traditional methods. The technique is also used in other areas of traditional health care such as pre-surgery planning, other types of examination, education etc.

The table can also, for educational purposes, be used in education environments and in public institutions such as museums, Science and Technology centers.

The table is developed by the Interactive Institute in collaboration with Norrköping Visualization Center and Center for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV) in Linköping, Sweden.

Director General Amano is seen here testing the preview of the future platform EVOC for teaching the physics of reactors in virtual reality. This platform will allow students from the French National Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology to take part in a virtual teaching reactor in the days to come. This new platform, mixing physical world and virtual reality and allowing the interaction of several students, is a world first realized by CEA colleagues, nuclear experts and virtual reality experts. 26 June 2018

Miquela Sousa, Instagram model, singer, social rights activist, is social media’s latest “it” girl. She is often seen sporting the latest fashion products from all the trending brands, from Chanel clothing to Kylie Cosmetic Lip Kits. At first glance, she seems like any other blogger, visiting all of L.A.’s hot spots and responding to her followers, referred to as “Miquelites.” However, unlike other bloggers, Sousa is virtual. She is computer generated to resemble a 19-year-old Brazilian- Spanish girl. While her creator’s identity remains anonymous, one thing is clear: virtual influencers are going to change how the world of fashion operates.

This is what I've put a bunch of time into lately. A week ago, I thought Minecraft just seemed tedious and repetitive. Then I realized I could use an inventory editor to give myself whatever I wanted and just play with building things. That's *much* more fun. I'd like to build a few more theatres like this in public servers and show them off.

This is based very closely on the Rhode Opera House (originally the Gateway Theatre) in Kenosha, WI. It's about as close as I can get it with the limitations of my building materials. I sure wish you could do textures in this, or build wall sections that are just a flat square that could go between a couple of cubes. It would make replicating real buildings *so* much easier.
