Beautiful sunset with a gorgeous bank of clouds to the east. My backyard wouldn't allow a view to do it justice, so instead we see buds coming through on our silver maple, with the clouds inhabiting the background at a strong tilted angle.
Vickers Vigor heavy duty crawler tractor of 1951. Its running gear was based on the WWII Tetrach light tank. Pictured at the Royal Engineers Museum, Gillingham, Kent, 9 August 2019.
Seen here at Vigor Shipyards in Seattle is the Tokitae under construction. This is the first 144-car Olympic-class ferry. At left and in front of the Tokitae is the hull of her younger sister Samish.
The MV Samish is the second Olympic-class ferry and is currently under construction at Vigor Shipyard in Seattle. The superstructure had not been placed on top of the hull yet. As of January 15, the superstructure is now being slowly slid onto the hull. The superstructure had been built by Nichols Brothers on Whidbey Island and transported down here by barge.
