Black and white edit with just a -hint- of vignette.

Morelia spilota mcdowelli, eastern carpet python #carpetpython

I was so annoyed I couldn't get a clear shot of these yatchts...but when I saw this shot on screen I decided I liked the natural framing and vignetting created by the vegetation.

I must apologise for my lack of commenting/faving ... our Wifi is shocking here continually dropping out...I shall do my best to keep up but excuse me if all I can manage is a fav.

Heading toward late afternoon, the sun flashes a wild dogwood on the farm. Thanks for the look and have a great evening.

Early Sunday morning stroll with camera in hand. One of my favourite things to do. Simple pleaseures.

Vignettes of Cork. Youghal on a spring day.

I've been busy creating 12 Festive Builds for the Brickfanatics Website I've also added a few lines of cheesy verse to accompany each vignette.

Built on a 8x8 plate, which is always a challenge, but a joy once complete.

Youghal May 23. IT was all about the colour, strong shapes and of course light and shadow when I saw this scene

Some tree flowers, shamelessly overprocessed.

Vignettes of Cork : Beauty in the Ordinary

Vignettes of Cork. I was setting up to take a photo of this old building in Macroom Cork. Drawn by the colour palette and the tiling pattern. I dont "do street" much these days but I still enjoy it as a photographic art form. I then noticed this gentleman, with his shirt, carrier bag and mask harmonious to the scene approaching. Fortunately for me he got a text message just at the right spot 😊 and stopped as he entered the frame.

Vignettes of Cork. The no. 5 ballon caught my eye as i was walking, so i felt compelled to try and make a frame.

Once the eye sees the primary subject I was then enjoyed how the double yellow line continues around the corner and leads the viewer on a journey out of the scene (but perhaps that just me 😊)

Backlit against lace curtain with added light vignette.

More parking signs, strong shapes and colour - Youghal May 23

Vignettes of Italy - Fierenza / Florence

You would think this photo had been converted into black and white but no I have only changed the levels and add a vignette, it was a rather gray day we went to the beach.

Definitely not sunbathing weather.

A ubiquitous scene as one drove through Provence mid summer 22. Clear blue skies, golden crop in the field and random trees and their shadows offering a third visual element to feast on

Lime soda from the top...apart from the flavour and nutrients, this can help keep you hydrated.

Happy Sunday @All!

This young heron haunts the ponds and streams near my home; I wanted to frame it in the horse chestnut leaves that hang low to the water's surface

I took this water lily image yesterday and thought it would suit the vignette to help draw the eye towards the delicately beautiful centre!

Hope you agree!!

Doors and signs seems to feature prominently in my visual lexicon it seems. So why not combine both ? :)

The old hut in Ashridge forest

Golden Gate Bridge. It's fun to imagine the Gate—pre-bridge— when it really was an open passage (until 1937). See some history below.

The reflection in the water created a sort of natural vignette which I found pleasing!

A bit of natural vignette from shooting through the chain link, plus a bit of my own.

Isle of Lewis and Harris : MAR 23. Each morning as we would leave the hotel we would stop at the local shop for "provisions" for the day. I noticed this vibrant yellow building with its wonderfully saturated colours. So of course if felt compelled to capture an image.
