all of these shots were taken and edited on my iphone

Through the viewfinder of a Sony TRV 900

... of hubby's very dusty Nikon!

through the viewfinder of my anscoflex

I was a bit naughty taking this, I turned my contraption 45 degrees so they thought I was shooting something entirely different!

captured through the viewfinder Ansco Rediflex + Nikon D70

Summit of Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh.

Kind of an interesting piece of barbed wire. Just happened to line up with this post.

Shot through a Kodak Brownie viewfinder with a Nikon 60mm macro lens.

Bokeh Night at Hedon Viewfinders

My second TTV - through the viewfinder - shot. A self portrait with the new ttv contraption - made out of a fedex box and using an argus camera (with a pretty dirty viewfinder.) Shot raw and has a decent amount of processing done on it.

I helped paint this boat. The back end is having some fiberglass work done, and the boat is getting a new name.

AN EARLY MORNING ARRIVAL TO THE DANBURY RAILWAY MUSEUM IN CONNECTICUT REVEALS THIS AWESOME LINEUP OF 3 DIFFERENT COLOR LASHUPS ON THE METRO NORTH RAILROAD.....

One of the best known views of the city, from Hendrik Point on the north side of the Golden Gate bridge.

San Francisco, CA

My first ever TtV shot, thru my office window simply testing the whole setup to see if it really worked. Kodak Duaflex (the first model without the flip up light shield on the finder) with a 6 1/4 inch cardboard tube (from an old Doodle Art poster if you must know) taped to the top with half a roll of electrician's tape (makes it look more finished... or something liek that) wrapped around it all. Using a Canon Powershot S3 IS in super-marco mode, set to spot metering. This particular shot was at ISO 100.

I scored three new pseudo TLRs at a local antique shop yesterday: a Voigtlander Brillant, a Kodak Duaflex, and a Kodak Brownie Reflex (needs a bit of work). I guess it's time to make some contraptions.

I was astonished with sharpness of Mamiya 645 viewfinder that I thought I could take some picture of it :D

I find "viewfinder" to be an ironic name for these quarter-triggered scopes, because the "view" is just as spectacular right where you're standing!

This view looks south from Boone to Lenoir, then Hickory, and eventually Charlotte, NC.
