That is how I see the world... framed through a viewfinder (even if it is not there).

Have a great weekend guys! Squeeze every drop of fun out of it!

Away out in the Highland Moors , Dava Moor to be exact. No houses or wind turbines for miles around to spoil this pristine but desolate scene , just don't stand on an Adder!

This narrow-road route with 'Passing Places' exits the A9 Trunk just north of the winter Ski town of Aviemore and cuts out Inverness if you are heading east but virtually impassable in a harsh winter with red snow gates "Road Closed" at either end. The water in the background is Lochinborb

Big bowling ball 'o fire in there...

WHY IS EVERYTHING BLURRY? This happens often, where I focus a shot and it looks perfect through the viewfinder, then it ends up shite! Advice please!

I lose so many good shots because of this!!!

This is a very serviceable optical viewfinder. I just finished cleaning the front & rear elements inside & out. It has detachable frames for 50 & 90mm lenses. The 35mm frame is screwed on, while the 50 & 90mm frames are held on by friction. The body tilts via a cam on the collar behind the rear element to compensate for parallax. It's the least expensive alternative right now that has good optical quality, and it looks nice.

When the sun is in your frame it’s a good idea to use your live view on your LCD monitor to protect your eyes rather than looking through the viewfinder, especially if you are using a telephoto lens.

Lens Flare

Be sure to watch for lens flare when you are shooting directly into the sun. Lens flare is when the light hits your lens directly and reflects inside the lens causing bright streaks or polygonal shaped bright spots with rainbow colours to appear. This is not necessarily a bad thing but if you don’t like it you will need to shade your lens with a lens hood or your hand. Shading your lens is not usually possible when the sun is in your frame but you can reduce the lens flare by positioning yourself so the sun is partially behind an object

This was taken in the woods where there were loads of bluebells.

It was such a lovely warm day and this shot makes me think of summer.

Various TtV shots arranged in photoshop, sphereized with a polar distortion filter.

Tough conditions for flight photography as it was snowing and blowing and the viewfinder kept getting full of snow.

Today, to enjoy the warm weather Scott and I drove down to Perth (Ontario) to meet my parents for a day in a smaller town and enjoy the quaint scenery.

Of course, both Dad and I had our cameras out and when the moment was right I took the opportunity to grab a shot of him at "work"!

Hope everyone has had a great day, me I may have a bit too much sun and it's time to rest now!

This dutch sign indicates the name of the road. "Zoekerweg" translated into English it would be the "Viewfinder Road". Nice huh?!

The white stuff is ice... We had some extreme cold and winds in December.

Have a beautiful day xoxo

Edited with Soulshine LR presets and one of my new textures.

I almost always shoot looking through the viewfinder, but I've been experimenting with using the LCD screen ("Live view") to get some more "fly on the wall" type shots. There are often interesting-looking folks sitting across from me on the subway, and this gives me a way to take some truly candid shots, something I don't do enough of.

Film photo post processed. Thank Katsudon for creating the effect

This image is from my last trip to Death Valley last april, while I was looking for some nice desert shapes I found that guy. Amezing plus for my composition in this case :)

And also if you can help me fight stress and click on the like button, thanks!

I fell in love with film at first because I fell in love with film cameras. The dusty viewfinder on my dad’s old Minolta SRT100 was what film “looked” like to me when framing a shot.

This is an iPhone photo through the SRT100 viewfinder with a Minolta MD 135mm lens and reminds me of the magic I felt the first time I picked up that camera and a feeling I hope to never forget.
