Vintage View Camera lots of wear on this old camera I couldn't date it but probably around the 20's found in North Carolina.
another view from my drive north, two weeks ago — changing weather then, changing weather now (back to snowing)
Utah, USA:
As Binsey featured in the previous photo, here's the reverse view from Binsey towards Skiddaw, England's sixth highest mountain and the fourth highest Wainwright, as Ill Crag and Broad Crag were not considered distinct enough peaks to qualify as their own Wainwright.
Created for TMI's challenge: "In the Style of … Braque, Feininger or Leger"; and inspired by Feininger.

The view from Island in the Sky - if you look closely you will see the White Rim Trail, a 71 mile road that usually takes at least two days to drive or three days on a bike. I enjoyed exploring this part of Canyonlands.
There are many beautiful lighthouses in Maine, but many people think that the Nubble Lighthouse is the most beautiful. I agree.

On the border between Kenya and Tanzania, Mount Shompole rises from the wilderness of the Southern Rift Valley to have its heights painted by the sunrise. Shompole's summit is 1100 meters (3600 feet) above sea level; from the valley floor Shompole's summit is 600 meters (1960 feet). ©2025 John M. Hudson | jmhudson1.com

View on the mountain Stol (2236 m.) from the upper part of the Vintgar Gorge. You can see also the river down below :)
River and rocks in the Vintgar Gorge :)
Vintgar Gorge is a 1,6 km long gorge in northwestern Slovenia in the municipalities of Gorje and Bled. Carved by the Radovna River, it is the continuation of the Radovna Valley. The sheer canyon walls are 50 to 100 meters high, with a total slope measuring about 250 m. The stream has created many erosive features such as pools and rapids, and terminates in the picturesque Šum Falls, the largest river waterfall in Slovenia. The gorge was explored in 1891 and in 1893 the gorge was equipped with wooden observation walkways and bridges and was opened to the public.

A strong rain storm chased us down the White Mountains -- I just managed a couple of clicks before that cloud let loose. But the storm could not obscure a beautiful view of the Owens Valley and High Sierra from Westgard Pass on Highway 168.
Hope everyone has a great week ahead! Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments.

View from the Bled castle on the Julian Alps.
The Julian Alps are a mountain range of the Southern Limestone Alps that stretch from northeastern Italy to Slovenia, where they rise to 2,864 m above sea level at Mount Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia. They are bounded to the north by the Sava Valley and to the west by the Tagliamento and Felli valleys. A large part of the Julian Alps is included in Triglav National Park.
