View of Uludağ from Mezitler, Bursa Province, Turkey dark clouds overhead but sun catching the peaks

My grandson, parking up and taking in the view :)

Taken at Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Cleveland on 14/11/2016.

The view from near the top of Rainier's Pinnacle Peak Trail. What a great hike and rather grand view.

Thanks for taking a peek.

اختلاف الرأي لا يفسد من الود قضيه ..

divarication is not a big deal ..

When I was walking in the landscape with my camera to look for birds to photograph, I saw this scene, tree shapes in the foreground framing an almost empty rural view. Couldn't resist to take a picture of the green rural scenery. Funny to see also that there is just one person walking there. Enjoy the landscape!

I'm excited about today's post as it's a two-part shot. Above is my composition, and then my friend Nate (my official photographer, lol) captured me from above.

Please have a look and leave some comments over at Nate's view of me :-)

The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the shot.

The view from the top of the Campsie Fells looking NW towards the Trossachs.

On the day in question, the South side of the Fells was foggy and dreich; the North side was foggy and frosty; the top, however, was frosty but ablaze with sunshine in a largely cloudless blue sky .. magical!

I stop here often and think of you

We could say its just another view

But you always liked the ordinary

Something that was familiar

Gave you a particular comfort

It didn’t have to be new

You loved stopping by the wayside

I think it was your way of saying

Please just forgive me

For what I am about to do

How many of us have left our heart's by the wayside? Sometimes we just need to pause for a while. Wayside's and hedgerows hoard emotions just like anywhere else.

This view is to be seen on the way to Wilmington in East Sussex, UK. And I have stopped here often.

HAPPY Weekend Dear Friends.

Of this clump of Toadstools .

Salar de Talar is a large salt flat located in the high puna of northern Chilean Andes, at an altitude of 3,950 m. It is part of a series of salt lakes and salt flats located at the foothills of a chain of volcanoes stretching along the eastern side of the much greater Salar de Atacama. The salty flat is bordered on the west by Caichinque and on the east by Cerro Medano, is a mountain with striking shades of grey and brown, which contrast nicely with the sparkling white of the salt flat's surface. On top of that, colourful ponds fringe its shores. Salar de Talar is a part of the Central Andean dry puna ecoregion, which in this zone is characterized by tussock grass vegetation.

I was still working when I suddenly noticed that we had a nice sunset for a change. So I grabbed the camera and took a few quick photos before the sun disappeared and the colours faded. This was one of the moment when I always wish I could see that sunset in a nicer place, at a lake or even better at the seaside. As this wasn't possible I can only offer the view from study, from the same window where the Dragon sat in the other photo I post today.

He could go anywhere to enjoy the view and he chose the very top of California's oldest structure...

Aboutme
