Did a little bikini photo for an rp event coming up in Terminal Vector. I'm sorta in love with the entire fit so I wanted to put it here <3

Vector - a flying bubble cockpit vehicle that I tried to make using a lot of silver Hero Factory parts.

A revamp of an old moc from 2013, this iteration of Vector has been sitting in my photo folder since Christmas. I finally got around to editing this shot after I realised I hadn't uploaded an original creation in almost a whole year. That's university life, I guess.
The good news is that I'm home now, and have every intention of building more given the limited time I have. More to follow, so stay tuned, folks!

Two photos of Canadian Coast Guard's "Vector" at Point Hope Shipyard. She is a hydrographic survey vessel and entered service in 1967 - classic lines.

After my over-ambitious failure of a SHIP last year, I’m pleased to say my entry this year has been a success – for the most part! Its interior is a little lacking and there are a few small details I’m not completely satisfied with but overall, I’m happy to call it finished.
The backstory bit:
Vector - 1 is a training craft designed to test would-be astronauts’ skill in manoeuvring large vessels in and out of atmosphere. Its modest fuel consumption and striking appearance means it also sees frequent use at air shows to promote the Star-Bound program and entice fresh recruits.
The X-31 was my main contribution to the planned experimental plane collaboration for Brickfair in 2020, until the pandemic put those plans on hold. It would have been my 10th time in a row attending the convention, so I chose the X-31 for the occasion because it perfectly fit the theme & because the earlier version of this model was the first Moc I ever displayed at BFair as part of a NASA themed exhibit. Hopefully we can put that X-plane display on in the future.
The model is a complete new build and is to scale with the other minifigure scale aircraft done for the collaboration. I chose this version of the model due to being able to brick build most of the color scheme. Much like the real thing, I borrowed some ideas for the wing design from Ralph's EAP
. It also was the most challenging part of the build, in order to achieve the correct angles while also being able to house the landing gear. But, I am very happy with the result.
Sometimes you need to stop for a moment to grasp the true scale of "reality" as it happens before your eyes. Hurrying to build our dreams makes us miss so many things...
Flashback to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games
Vectorial Elevation was an interactive artwork that allowed participants to transform the sky over Vancouver. Using a three-dimensional interface, a web site let you design huge light sculptures by directing 20 robotic searchlights located around English Bay.
