The Church of Santos Passos, also known as Church of Our Lady of Consolation, was built by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Consolation and Santos Passos to the architect Andrés Soares at the beginning of the 18th century.

The Church, located in Guimarães, was built in the same place where a small chapel existed since the 16th century.

The imposing temple is topped by two towers added in the middle of the century. XIX, by an architect from Oporto. The staircase and the balustrade are also from that time.

The altarpiece of the chancel is of classical inspiration from the end of the 19th century. XVIII, with painting to imitate the marble.

Not a great photo but I wanted to share.

This is under the west abutment of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. I'm very pleased to have had a tour courtesy of @igersbristol and @brunelsbridge. Thanks guys!

I've gone with the ladder shot for scale.

The fact that the abutments are hollow wasn't discovered until 2002, 200 years after they were built. The bridge people are working on making this safe for group tours for those of you interested. But I am well chuffed with having been among the first hundred people ever to have been in here!
