The foggy conditions near the end of last year certainly provided an opportunity for some alternative compositions and images.
Another shot of the passing storms. we had last week. The direct light slowly disappears as the clouds crowd the sky, but the low setting sun manages to bounce off the bottoms of the clouds for some nice reflective light.
240 seconds with the Big Stopper.
It took me a few minutes to compose this image as I didn't realise that the groyne isn't symmetrical to begin with.

I can't find the name of this little island on any maps...did it disappear??

This is the last photo I took on my walk through the snow on that particular day. It had started snowing very intense by then and I was able to capture those two trees, that on any other day are nice trees with less pleasant backgrounds but on that one was quite isolated due to that snow. I you zoom in a bit you can see all the streaks of snow falling in front of the trees.
