A view of the west end of Penns Valley from Mt. Nittany summit, Centre Hall, PA

Winds blew me to the top of the mountains - a view of the many villages in the valley, distant mountains, cumulus clouds, a tiny shack to savour the view, and the play of the cloud shadows on the ground!

Awesome!

The bark texture on this maple tree contrasts nicely with the smooth leaves of the vine.

The descent from the Ghats provided a great view. The winding road was dark, with the road-signs barely legible; but as the valley started you could see bright sunshine beckoning.

This was taken while returning from the Kuntala Falls Trip.

Looking south along Dishman-Mica.

Resources were sent to Dishman-Mica Rd to ensure the fire did not cross and threaten the Robinhood neighborhood.
