Captured this single engine waiting for the green light. CSX has all the tracks east of the diamonds at Scioto, (downtown) all screwed up so many trains have had to wait many hours to get clearance.

With gas hovering around $3.89 per gallon, I'll be sticking closer to home and grabbing more trains in my neighborhood. My recent trip to New England was over $500...ridiculous! Hopefully I'll get bunches while working...Lol!

This view looks east across the Merced River into Yosemite Valley. El Capitan dominates the left side, while Cathedral Rocks and Bridalveil Fall are on the right. Sentinel Rock is also visible on the right.

I've never really paid attention to spiders killing their prey until I noticed this battle on my back porch. The spider continuously stabbed the ladybug till it was immobilized. Interesting to say the least.

NS117 westbound through Valleyview with an x-SOO as 2nd locomotive. I saw this go by the day before and couldn't go after it. I'm glad it made the return trip.

Used a graduated neutral density filter to better balance the exposure between the sky and the ground. Some additional dodging and burning was applied to control the exposure to more localized areas.
