Today was the day, I drove to Gravelbourg for a scheduled vaccine appointment.
And everyone's quick question is, "which one did you get?" Why is that so important?
We are heading to US for Thanks Giving this year, just for 2 weeks but we will be visiting 3 states! so it's rush rush rush! I got the H1N1 flu jab because I am and will be traveling a lot the next few months, you know, airports, airplanes, hotels, trains blah blah blah and when one is tired = prone to illness. So I took the jab.
but darn, I am soo sleepy ... Zzz ZZzz
Anyone else opting for the Jabs?

May 26, 2021—New York City —Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, joined by chief counsel Beth Garvey and State Budget Director Robert Mujica, today announced a new vaccine incentive for young New Yorkers between the ages of 12 and 17 who receive a COVID-19 vaccine to be eligible for a chance of 50 full tuition scholarships, including room and board, at a state university or local government community college in New York State. Every Wednesday, for the next 5 weeks beginning June 2, 2021, New York State will randomly select 10 vaccine recipients to win “full ride” scholarships. Each week, another 10 will be selected. Hep B - given at birth of baby = Hepatitis B is caused by infection with the hepatitis B virus. You can get the virus if you have unprotected sexual contact with an infected partner. Babies do NOT HAVE SEX!

I doubted this moment would happen. Even when the vaccines were through trials and getting approved late last year, I assumed I would have to wait a long time to get it. But my pessimism was entirely ill-placed.
