Chris Fosbury’s former Ellie Rose Travel Limited VVV 952W, a Bristol VRT/SL3/6LXB built 1981 with an Eastern Coach Works H43/31F body on Rochdale Road East in Heywood taking part in the Trans Lancs Rally. Sunday 5th September 2010
Note, VVV 952W was originally owned and operated by the United Counties Omnibus Company Limited as number 952, and was withdrawn from service in 1999. It was purchased in June 1999 by Buckby’s Coaches (a Rothwell based operator), and was then purchased Mayfield Coaches (an Astley OR a Manchester based operator) in January 2002 but was not used. It was sold at BCA Auctions at Belle Vue in Manchester to an unknown owner in April 2002, and by June 2002 it was operated by Continental Coaches (an Eston based operator). It was purchased Ellie Rose Travel Limited in 2003, was purchased Tees Valley Luxury Coach Travel Limited in September 2005, and was purchased by Chris Fosbury for preservation in December 2005

This is the building of the tourist office in Nordhorn. The name VVV ("Vereniging voor Vreemdelingenverkeer") and the logo are borrowed from the Netherlands. The building is designed by Horst Jäkel and opened in 1990. Sorry for the large banner which obstructs the view of the structure around the building.
