These little cars have always generally been a bit of a budget vehicle and as such, their lifespan has been fairly limited to the extent that the older ones seem to disappear by a certain point. I've not seen many here in the past few years, and this ones been off the road since 2012. The reason for this seems to be an MOT failure in the same year, but for not much more than a front spring and some rust. Enough to put the owner off of it though, I think that Starlet in front replaced it?

Not a great picture,but it illustrates this Luton and District Bristol VR reasonably well,as it loads up at Leighton Buzzard.This bus was a regular sight on the 70 service,before the olympians arrived.

Seen working in Sheffield carrying Nottingham Omnibus fleet names before operation of Nottingham Omnibus.
