Between the Drill Field and Burruss Hall, they erected the memorial for those students and faculty that lost their lives on April 16, 2007. I already graduated several years ago and didn’t know any of those killed, but I had class in Norris Hall and likely the same room(s) where it happened. To this day I have a very hard time reading or hearing anything about the tragedy. The memorial is perfect. It isn’t gaudy, obstructive or intrusive; instead it is respectful to those that died and a symbol that we won’t forget and will prevail. I am proud to be a Hokie!

Der VT 92 bzw. 692 war ein Versuchs- und Schlepptriebwagen. Aus diesem wurden dann die Eierköpfe VT 08 und VT 12 entwickelt. Das Erscheinungsbild der Kopfform findet man auch beim ET 56, ET 30 und beim ETA 176 wieder. Das Einzelstück ist in Bockenem abgestellt.
