The Vicenza Middle School held a “Trashion Show” at the VES-VMS multipurpose room to celebrate Earth Week Apr. 18.
Participants created clothing from recycled materials and four students won in different categories. Other Earth Week activities included tours of the Eco Center, information booths and a book give away at the Library.

Vicenza Middle School instrumentalists and singers perform during their year-end Spring Concert May 14 under the direction of music director Eldon Kirkhum at the Villaggio MPR.
After the beginning band and choir selections, more than 30 advanced band members ranged from the "Chorale" by Johann Sebastian Bach and Ancient Voices to upbeat renditions of American jazz classics.
After the concert, a tribute to Music Director Kirkhum’s long career with DoDDS concluded the event.

Vicenza Middle School hosts its Grand Bazaar Jan. 22, transforming the whole seventh-grade wing of the school into a Middle Eastern market for the day.
After researching the background history, geography and local products of a designated country, more than 80 seventh-graders displayed their colorful, culture specific wares.
Italians students from a middle school in Malo, about 10 miles northwest of Vicenza, experienced the bazaar while visiting the VMS as part of their annual cultural exchange program.

Vicenza military community members enjoy a lot of activities and games during the Spring Carnival May 17.
The event was held at the Vicenza Elementary and Middle School at Villaggio to benefit all three Vicenza schools. The games included Plinko, Skee ball, The Frog Launcher, Spin A Prize and the Dunk Tank.
