Black Elected to Serve State Women’s Committee
Butler County’s Dixie Black, right, was elected vice chairman of the Alabama Farmers Federation’s State Women’s Leadership Committee during the Federation’s 104th annual meeting in Montgomery Dec. 7-8.
Black was also reelected to serve Region 3, which includes Baldwin, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Dallas, Escambia, Hale, Lowndes, Marengo, Mobile, Monroe, Montgomery, Perry, Sumter, Washington and Wilcox counties.
The Women’s Leadership Committee provides an opportunity for women to actively participate in policymaking and ag advocacy.
