One of the vampire bats is feeding from the blood dish near the exhibit glass. Hopefully he wasn't too upset by the camera flash; he seemed to take it in stride.

I must have twenty sets of vampire teeth floating around the house, the boys love them. (Though they can be dangerous because they encourage biting.)
Another round of halloween cookies, this time with a vampire theme. The lips are the only design I drew up myself, the other two are from embroidery/clip art sources.

Lexi's friend Kayla has taken a liking to the Twilight series, prompted by Ronda, who has gotten the girls into actually READING the series instead of just waiting for the movies. Go Ronda. I was messing around with this portrait in PS and got this effect initially by accident, by refined it to make them happy. Vampire Kayla's gold eyes indicate that she's recently fed.

D10687. A Gloster Meteor and a De Havilland Vampire fly together at the 2014 Farnborough Airshow. The Meteor was the first British jet fighter and the first one flew in 1943; the Vampire followed a couple of years later entering service in 1945.
The pair flew together at the beginning of the flying display on the last day of the Airshow.

To think about the past does not make happy. Even in former times we were missing things.
The daemon of the past makes you wise, but only the angel of the now can make you feel happy.
Vergangenheit heraufzubeschwören macht weder glücklich noch zufrieden. Auch damals waren wir unzufrieden, denn wir waren auch damals im Bewusstsein des Mangels gefangen und haben etwas gesucht, vermisst, irgendetwas fehlte immer. Vergangenheit ist ein Vampir. Der Engel des Augenblicks erlöst aus den Gedankenschleifen.
Gedanken an die Vergangenheit sind für das wache Bewusstsein hinderlich.

Vampire Weekend on a huge billboard on a public street? Only in London!
Taken during another weekend in the wicked city, where the Babs is staying untill this summer. So expect more crazy billboards in the coming months. ;)
In juli 2010 it became known the girl on the billboard didn't know about the use of her portrait. The picture was taken in 1983 (!) She's sueing the band for 2 million. Read it here (in dutch).
