Maybe this focus stack of LexFarm's garlic would suffice as a vampire repellent. Bookmarking this on your cellphone or keeping a printout might be a good idea.
For the ‘Art is Immortal’ art exhibition, ‘The Art of Compassion’. 14/04/2024
The vampire stood in the twilight’s shadow, holding a bouquet of roses in his hands. They were a tribute to her, the woman who had taught him to love and feel compassion. He longed to feel the warmth of the sun one last time, as an echo of the human warmth she had provided him. As tears of blood fell upon the petals, the sun touched his skin, and in that moment of pain and beauty, he remembered the light she had brought into his eternal life.
In the context of the story, the vampire’s compassion for the woman reflects an emotional connection that transcends his nature. Despite being a creature of darkness, his ability to feel compassion brings him closer to his humanity. As a way to honor the woman’s memory and feel a final connection with her, the vampire risks feeling the warmth of the sun, knowing it will cause him pain. It is a symbolic gesture of his love and compassion, choosing to share the human experience of loss and remembrance.
Former Swiss Air Force DH Vampire 55 on the Saturday of AirVenture. I think this was its last flight as it was donated to the EAA museum at the end of AirVenture.
I drove a stake right through her
I've tasted all her lies
I'm a vampire by rumor
Empty as fuck inside
Quick, take a look and a pic
I'm a mannequin in bliss
One-man band I'm the shit
Can't form attachments so I kiss
And suck the soul out of you miss
Leave her heart in a ditch
'Cause I could never trust a shhh
Yeah, I'm as faithful as an atheist
I trade my soul for paperclips
Trauma is what made me this
Baby, you know that I'm dangerous
It's too late for me to be saved
Can't see my breath when I'm in company
I actualy like foggy weathers... but I hate rain and I miss summer...
On this photo I got the mood that I wanted I think.... Does it suit the topic?
They say the origines of vampires aren't really in Transilvania but in Croatia ?_? (who knows if its true) if they exist in Croatia, they must be visiting my country (Slovenia) sometimes aswell!
I am also selling this print among with some others on etsy... for the link look in my profile ;)
Vampires are typically said to not have reflections or cast shadows. This is often portrayed in folklore as a physical characteristic of vampires.
It is also said they can't be photographed or recorded on film.
Transylvania (Tiverton), Devon, UK.
[Transylvania is a region in central Romania. It's known for medieval towns, mountainous borders and castles like Bran Castle, a Gothic fortress associated with the legend of Dracula. The city of Brașov features Saxon walls and bastions, as well as expansive Council Square, ringed by colourful baroque buildings, the towering Gothic Black Church and a number of cafes]

Nope, just Echo's favorite sleeping position. He is the weirdest dog (I say that with immense affection).
Oh! And you have just got to see Mai1984's artistic remix:

A Vampire's Tragedy
Alone I sit on the top of a hill
Thinking of how my unlife has been
Of the pain and the sorrow I've seen
In the eyes of my victims before they lay still.
Though a hunter in darkness I must be
The feelings of guilt always come back
When I sink my teeth in another man's neck
My conscience is the only light left in me.
All I want is to leave the shadows behind
And truly this time I will
For I no longer desire to kill
Thoughts of light are now on my mind.
I'm waiting for the sunrise today
On the lonely hill where I sit
And maybe, I'll catch a glimpse of it
Before the wind blows my ashes away.

Vampire's Crypt
Something I've been wanting to build ever since Lego released those candelabra pieces.
This is a slightly smaller variation of the digital set revamp I made of the Lego Studios Vampire Crypt. With a few alterations here and there.
Seeing as I added Rodney Rathbone this could be seen as either an additional prequel or sequel to the Monster fighters sets.
The De Havilland Vampire wasn't on the flight list, so it was quite exciting to hear its engines warm up and for it to perform a wonderful display at the Battle of Britain airshow at IWM Duxford. An aircraft I've always wanted to see in the air.
Two out of three de Havilland Vampires based at Västerås flight museum. The one closest to the camera is today painted in a silver livery.
Here is the sixth in a series I took at Seoul's Comic World on Sunday March 15th. These kids were dressed as some sort of vampires. At least that's what I got of them. I took a couple hours on this, retouching skin & dodging and burning (non-destructively) to bring out highlights and lowlights to give it a "comic book" feel. This is not HDR, but just a lot of layer masks from a raw file manipulated in Photoshop. Thanks for checking it out.
