The Quran describes the oppressor or tyrant as "deaf, dumb and blind", which is essentially the spiritual reality of the tyrant. He cannot hear the cries of his victims; he cannot communicate with those he oppresses because he imperiously views them as representatives of a lower order of being than himself, and thus as mere commodities to be exploited or, even worse, as plagues to be cleansed; and he cannot see the harm he does. Aristotle (d. 322 BC) reminds us that all tyrants invariably surround themselves with sycophants because they cannot bear the truth. But the tyrant also needs these sycophants because he demands tacit approval of his beliefs and actions, and most of all he fears an honest and critical view of himself. The more the tyrant's power grows, the less he tolerates dissent. What is true of the tyrant is also true of the tyrannical nation. He demands that everyone agree with him and affirm his position because he cannot see, hear or speak to anyone but himself. He believes that his vision is clear, his understanding is unsurpassed, and his words, and only his words, are worthy of utterance or consideration. As human beings, only through others can we truly see ourselves, hear ourselves and talk to ourselves; but in his fixation on himself the tyrant is totally incapable of such reflection.

Introduction
Almighty God says: "God sees this instance of management of mankind, of saving humans, as more important than anything else. He does these things not only with His mind, nor is it only with His words, and He particularly does not do it casually—He does all of these things with a plan, with a goal, with standards, and with His will. It is clear that this work to save mankind holds great significance for both God and man. No matter how difficult the work is, no matter how great the obstacles are, no matter how weak humans are, or how deep mankind’s rebelliousness is, none of this is difficult for God. God makes Himself busy, expending His effort and managing the work He Himself wants to carry out. He is also arranging everything, and ruling all the people and the work He wants to complete—none of this has been done before. It is the first time God has used these methods and paid a great price for this major project of managing and saving mankind. While God is carrying out this work, little by little He is expressing to humans without reservation His hard work, what He has and is, His wisdom and almightiness, and every aspect of His disposition. He unreservedly reveals all of this to mankind bit by bit, revealing and expressing these things as He has never done before."

We experience this Mystery in three ways: as Silence, as Word, and as Understanding. Word, in this sense, refers to all there is, since we experience it as somehow directed at us: it “speaks to us.” Word has its origin in Silence. God looks over creation, watching, day after day, observing. Humbly He hides Himself, tasting this human life, watching man's every deed. Who has truly offered themselves to God? Who has ever pursued the truth? Who has taken God earnestly, kept promises made, and followed their duty to God? Who has ever let God dwell inside them? Who has valued God as they would their own life? Who has ever seen His full divine being, or been willing to touch God Himself ? When people sink in the waters, God saves them. When they cannot face life, God lifts them and gives them the courage to live again, and gives them a second chance. So they will take Him as their foundation. When they disobey, God takes this chance to let them know Him.

God sees people's old nature, and in mercy allows them a chance to repent and receive a new start. So long as they have one breath left, God will save them from death. How many times have people seen His reaching hands? How often the kindness in His eyes? And have felt all the while the smile on His face? And how many times have they witnessed His wrath or majesty? When people sink in the waters, God saves them. When they cannot face life, God lifts them (that's when God lifts them) and gives them the courage to live again, and gives them a second chance. So they will take Him as their foundation. When they disobey, God takes this chance to let them know Him. Though men have never known Him, God never abuses their weaknesses; considers their hardships with sympathy, chastises them only when they turn away. When people sink in the waters, God saves them. When they cannot face life, God lifts them and gives them the courage to live again, and gives them a second chance. So they will take Him as their foundation. When they disobey, God takes this chance to let them know Him.

Let me explain why I usually don't dare to say "I love you."
I believe I want to protect both the other person and myself. After many disappointments, I've realized that before saying "I love you", before confessing to the other one and to myself everything I feel, nothing has truly begun.
You know, I can love so deeply that I'm afraid something might begin between me and the other one. That something might come to an end.
So, I don't dare to say "I love you," for fear that this utterance of love foreshadows a change.
A transition.
A fall.
As if, at the end of the words of love, comes the time to destruct. To fall.
To fall in love and get hurt.
To get hurt to the point where we can no longer rise from the confession of our feelings.
Some hearts can hardly bear the weight of honesty.
And what if I simply wanted to preserve our eternity?
Leaving us on the edge of all that we might be.
Like that suspended moment before the first kiss, where a tiny space seems to contain infinite measures... and where even time itself refuses to pass.
