This was taken for the Guardian Camera Club "Utilities" entry. I rejected it as the only interesting element in the photo comes from a heavily altered version.

Three of these poles on this major 3-phase cross-town circuit are being replaced by B&B Electrical and Utility Contractors, Inc., a contractor company that's based up in Brandon, Mississippi that was hired for this job by Entergy of Mississippi, the owner of the poles and lines.

6:15 AM, 0 degrees, warm jacket, but no hat and no gloves (didn't bring them to school). Most miserable morning I've had, but the sunrise WAS beautiful.
Unfortunately, without venturing far from my apartment, (which I wasn't going to do in the limited clothing I was wearing), I found it very difficult to get away from the utility poles, and other human constructions, without trespassing onto the construction site nearby. During this shot I was leaning up against the fence with the posted sign.
