This is the user interface for filling the oxygen tank. This will be visible through a small door in the baggage compartment bulkhead. The cap on the left screws off, allowing a connection to an external oxygen tank to top off my internal tank. The gauge shows the current tank pressure.

Clicking the "Get Started" button brought up a dialog containing additional information about the application template.
This broiler toaster turns clockwise for timed broiling which is the typical use (toast and the like) and counterclockwise for it to be continuously on. If you are unaware or not careful, when you manually turn off the timed broiling, you actually go into always on. If someone decides their toast is dark enough and shuts it down, they can remove the toast and not realize the toaster is now always on.

Pete explains design considerations when building applications for the mobile web. User interfaces need to be concerned with the size of clickable elements.
Mice afford us a fairly fine and accurate hotspot for clicking, however the use of thumbs and other digits are not as accurate.
Our interfaces need to account for this.
The RADCASTle is monophonic synthesizer using analog sound-generating circuitry driven by a microcontroller. This was a ECE4007 Senior Design Project at Georgia Tech in the Fall 2008 semester. The team members were Robert Estelle, Logan Snow, Hoan To, and Greg Hartl.
The analog boards were purchased from Ray Wilson of Music From Outer Space. The team developed customer to interface the various analog synth boards with a PIC microcontroller through digital-to-analog converters.

The Z8 uses UIQ 3.1 as its interface. In the demo it was impressively quick. The softkey interface works very well with UIQ 3 despite it origin as a touchscreen UI.
