Eureka! This new EM Spectrum exhibit takes advantage of twin 4K UHD screens and all of the coding, user interface, graphic design, and content is entirely new.

For this exhibit, we developed custom software which allows visitors to view both terrestrial and celestial objects across different wavelengths. The exhibit runs on an Ideum 100” dual 4K UHD Pano multitouch table. All of the content was developed specifically for the application. Ideum conducted a multispectral photo shoot for terrestrial objects and helped collect the latest celestial images. We worked with Science World in Vancouver to find appropriate images for the exhibit and collaborated on the content and text descriptions.

The 8K EM spectrum imaging exhibit will debut in the Eureka! Gallery at Science World at Telus World of Science in Vancouver in late February 2015. You can learn more about the Pano 100” multitouch table or the EM Spectrum exhibiton the Ideum website.

I really like the task based interface on this Bosch dryer. Works by humidity rather than time becuase you want something dry, not somethnig with an hours warmth. Also good is the way that it works very much like the washer for memory retention happiness.

The six-member PIC18F46J50 8-bit MCU family features typical sleep currents of less than 20 nA with up to 64 KB of Flash program memory and the peripheral set of a typical 64- or 80-pin device in only 28- or 44-pins. Full-Speed USB 2.0 is also integrated to enable connectivity for embedded applications requiring remote field upgrades or the downloading of data. The Apple Macintosh introduced a graphic user interface (GUI) to the Apple line of computers. The idea had originated at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center in the 1970s, but Xerox was slow to commercialize it. Apple proved far more successful when it introduced the Macintosh in January 1984, with a splashy television advertisement during the Superbowl. The original price was around $2,500.

Instead of typing out names of programs on command lines, users with a GUI could click "icons," or pictures that represented the programs they wanted to run. They could also execute functions like saving, moving, or deleting files by clicking and dragging the icons around the screen with a pointing device called a mouse. Apple's version of the mouse had a single button, which became an Apple standard. The first Macintosh had only 128K RAM, and users quickly found this insufficient. The Macintosh 512 KB, nicknamed "Fat Mac," was introduced in September 1984. It gave users four times as much memory, and allowed them to keep several major programs open simultaneously. The vertical processor case and 9" monochrome screen were distinguishing features of all the early Macintosh line. The Macintosh 512 KB contained a Motorola 68000 microprocessor which ran at 8 MHz. It contained 512 KB of RAM and 64 KB of ROM and initially had a 400 KB Floppy disk drive. Applications included MacWrite, a word processor, and MacPaint, a drawing program that turned the mouse into a paintbrush. Shortly after the 512 KB appeared, Apple also introduced a LaserWriter printer, which enabled desktop publishing for individuals and small businesses. Over time, Apple computers would appeal most strongly to artists and designers, while the IBM/DOS line of computers sold better in business markets. After selling hundreds of thousands of units, Apple discontinued the "Mac Classic" line of computers in April 1986.

The National Museum of American History (NMAH), administered by the Smithsonian Institute, collects, preserves and displays American heritage in the areas of social, political, cultural, scientific and military history. The museum, which first opened in 1964 as the Museum of History and Technology, is located on the National Mall in one of the last structures designed by McKim, Mead & White. It was renamed in 1980, and closed for a 2-year, $85 million renovation by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP from 2006 to 2008.

The Smithsonian Institution, an educational and research institute and associated museum complex, administered and funded by the government of the United States and by funds from its endowment, contributions, and profits from its shops and its magazines, was established in 1846. Although concentrated in Washington DC, its collection of over 136 million items is spread through 19 museums, a zoo, and nine research centers from New York to Panama.

Sidewinder is a basic photo editor for 24 bit color images (non transparent) written in Java2 JRE RECENT (1.8.0_20) x platform for Win Linux, it uses a backup array of the original camera image numeric to calibrate operations on the visual photo numeric, it supports cropping resizing(down) and has exposure correction. It has a 28 image preview system to help show the result of the current image and assist visually of balancing the colours in the photo. It is designed to be simple and not a complete image editing solution. It does have minimal text onto photo writing, and exposure correction aka gamma or mid tone, standard contrast, mirror flip vertical horizontal, rotate, aspect ratio resize, and other offbeat imaging algorithm operations e.g RGB and brightness 16 band filter system, to convert colour to black and white. Saving over the original photo is not supported to minimise some of incalculable loss of accident. There are also some tutorials and tips at the origin site.

As the sole developer of this app, I was responsible for the entire development process, from creating the user interface and navigation system to working on the environment lighting and the theatre environments, which we acquired from the Unity asset store.

One of the main challenges I faced during the development of the app was the issue of playing MKV video files with AAC and AC3 audio codecs on Android. I discovered that the built-in video player of Unity does not support these codecs, which could have been a major issue for our users. To solve this problem, I had to write a native plugin on top of the Google Android Exo Player package, which provided support for almost all video formats and audio codecs.

This custom plugin also allowed us to select the audio tracks of the video, which was not possible before. With this solution, our users could watch their favourite movies without any issues or limitations.

As a result of these efforts, the VR Cinema Player app has become a popular choice among users. It has consistently ranked among the top 50 paid apps on the Play Store in India for the past year. This demonstrates the app's popularity among users and the value it offers as an immersive movie-watching experience.
