On his new site, this devious feline will blog about his exploits, illustrating battle plans and posting video footage of gut-splittingly funny kitty attacks. He’ll also seek suggestions from potential supporters of every species, and whenever possible, implement their ideas in future attacks. I’m excited because it’s all part of a social media experiment created by my interactive department and illustrated by yours truly. As Grover’s arch enemy, General Sully Bonesaparte will be making appearances from time to time to egg him on.

Alli trying to use the self-service checkout. We encountered two issues:
- you can't back out of an error and a human must get involved
- you can't do a credit transaction without human involvement (this might be a good thing)

Others morsels:
- Designers within design teams should share information and ideas with each other. This can be quite difficult for individual designers. America already has this design culture.
- Designers will always be egotistical - thats the nature of what they do. They find ways to make things better in the face of conformity.
- The design process can uncover a huge amount of operational business problems. Theses can not be left unchanged, otherwise you risk 'lipstick on a pig'.
- Internal design teams are a more valuable resource if utilised correctly.
- Researchers working on Heathrows terminal 5 wanted to find out where people spend most of there time in an Airport. They looked at all the demographics and documented their behaviour. They found that older people spent a lot of time in the toilets. The architects reacted by adding huge numbers of Toilets to the plans.
Later, one bright spark decided to follow the old people into the loos. He found that they were not actually using the loos, but trying to listen to the announcements. The toilets were the quietest place to hear the announcements. Hense the value of thorough user research.
