For this picture I used an old, more or less acquired lens. It is a „Auto Beriflex 135 mm 1:2.8“ with M42 connector. "Beriflex" was a brand name of the Berlin company Beroflex AG. A system camera can be connected with a suitable adapter.
When it originally opened in 1914, the Power Station was one of the most advanced power centers in all of Europe, however it will likely be better remembered for its ornate Art Deco architecture than its technological wonder. Parts are still used, except the old transformer buildings and the Art Deco control room.

Used the Pentacon AV 2.8/80 (made in G.D.R.) with Meke 20mm Extension Tube
Lens known for it's bokeh. Totally manual you must move the camera to get focus. (not cropped)
Looks best full screen if you have a large monitor.

The great reception hall at Shibamata Taishakuten, a Buddhist temple, set in a traditional Japanese garden. You actually walk round the garden on a covered walkway of wood - you leave your shoes at the entrance and walk in your socks (as a Swede I am quite familiar to the concept of not wearing shoes indoors, but this was a new experience even for me, and as this was in December, it was a bit cold for the toes). Very contemplative and very beautiful. The garden was created in 1965, and the reception hall dates to 1929.
Shibamata Taishakuten was founded in 1629 - but the buildings in the area are generally from the early 20th century. The inner shrine of the Taishakudo (Taishaku temple hall) was finished in 1915 and the hall of worship 1929. The temple is centred around the worship of Taishakuten (sometimes called just Taishaku - written 帝釈天 or 帝釈 respectively), the Japanese name for Sakra devanam Indra (that is, the god Indra, known from Hinduism).

I use "Big Head" for more fun.
For someone, orange groves - a common occurrence.
But for me it is something special.
In my country, oranges are not grow, and these trees are just amazing for me
Feel, like in a fairytale, and that's amazing
I used 4 Wombo creations to bring this together. The top half and bottom half are 2 different images. The car and the tree beside it were 2 separate images. All was blended using Pixelmator Pro.
Prompts: Autumn trees, windy, swirling leaves, puddles, misty, cold, ultra realistic details
Style: The City
Input image was the same as used for "Autumn Rain"
Wishing all of you a great weekend!

The Charles A. Dana Discovery Center at the Harlem Meer in Central Park. This was the first time I had walked this area after living in NYC for nearly 37 years. I had no idea how beautiful it is.
……A metal pot used as a plant pot holder in the garden - probably modern but made to look old? We bought it in a reclaim/antique shop in Mullion in Cornwall a few years ago and as it has a nice bit of rust that fitted the theme for Macro Monday nicely I thought. Always a ponder how to get the best comp' to include most if not all the subject in the frame whilst staying in focus! I did my best!! HMM & have a great week, Alan:-)

Tu color es el color del agua,
oh cuerpo del lenguaje
allí donde el agua es
levadura, rayo o fuego.
recogeremos mares, descubriremos madreperlas,

#Macro #MacroMondays #Card

Macro Mondays theme Single Use
Dishwasher tablet on Aluminium Foil - both single use. Frame measures 3.5 cm in width.
What this theme has highlighted is what a shockingly wasteful bunch us humans are!
I won't be around to comment today as it's my Mother-in-Law's Funeral.
Wishing everyone a Happy Macro Monday (even though I'm not quite feeling it).

I guess these tiny post-it skyscrapers are the only affordable housing left… but at least they‘re colorful! 😅
One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Single Use".
Shot with a Nikon "LS-3510AF 50 mm F 3.5" (scanner) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
My silicone pastry brush that I mostly use for basting with accompanying olive oil. The brush is both very functional and bright. It is too tall to be shown in full. Maximum width is 1.5 inches. For the Macro Mondays theme "Member's Choice - Found in the Kitchen".
HMM!
Thank you for visiting. I very much appreciate the kind comments and faves.
