À l'époque du rattachement de Metz à l'Empire Allemand, la ville se transforme sous l’action des autorités qui décident de faire de son urbanisme une vitrine de l’empire wilhelmien. Le « Temple neuf » illustre cette politique de germanisation par l’architecture, déployée par Guillaume II, pour asseoir son emprise sur la ville.

Mais tout ce qui a l'eau pour fondement n'a pas plus de réalité qu'un songe, qu'un mirage. Personne n'a jamais considéré l'eau comme un élément stable. Comment une construction sur l'eau pourrait-elle être indéfiniment solide? In La conférence des oiseaux, Farid Al-Din Attar

IMPORTANT:
This photo had received more than 54 faves a few days ago, before the "bug"
I just noticed that many (more than 40) of my photos had "lost" all the faves you had deposited! And this, for a reason that is unknown to me :-(( (Flickr bug?)
All of them had received more than 50 favorites ...
I deposited them in a special album: www.flickr.com/photos/thethi/albums/72157693284042021
If you like them, do not hesitate to add them a favorite and so keep them for your slide shows :-) And so I can put them again in the « faves groups" they deserved.

Je viens de remarquer que plusieurs (plus de 40) de mes photos avaient « perdu » toutes les faves que vous aviez déposé!!! Et ceci, pour une raison qui m’est inconnue :-(( (bug Flickr?)

Panorama montat amb diverses imatges digitals.
El Royal Crescent és un conjunt de trenta cases aparellades construit el 1767-74 a Bath. Foren construides com a urbanisme de luxe i continue sent-ho, potser més i tot. Entre els propietaris actuals sembla que hi han els actors Nicholas Cage i Johnny Depp.
En tot cas, només al davant hi havia aparcats com qui no vol la cosa tres Rolls-Royce.

The Royal Crescent is a complex of thirty terraced houses built in 1767-74 in Bath. They were built as luxury urban planning and continue to be so, perhaps more and more. Current owners appear to include actors Nicholas Cage and Johnny Depp.
At least three Rolls-Royce cars were parked nonchalantly in front of these houses.
