this waterfall is located near Table Rock but not in the park. Talk
to the Park Ranger but no one seems to know it's name, so I call
it Ron's Waterfall...
Photo I made last June. This photo was dark, but salvaged in Lightroom. Made just off Porter Road in northern Anderson County, SC
A small waterfall on Carrick Creek at Table Rock State Park in Upstate SC. The Blue Ridge Mountains have so many great waterfalls to see! Hope you enjoy it, comments welcome! ;-)

A morning view of Table Rock State Park from the viewing platform at Caesars Head State Park in Upstate SC. We didn't get any spectacular conditions on this morning to shoot a "fine art shot", so I decided to shoot a stock image while we were there. I tried to use the elements to bring the viewer to the scene, showcasing what you would see if your were there. I purposely shot from an angle that would catch the warm glow of the morning sun off of the viewfinder, lending strength to it in the image. Click the image to view it large! Hope you enjoy it, comments welcome! ;-)
Use "L" to view large, "F" to fave it!

Another rural shot taken somewhere between Spartenburg and Greenville, S.C.
Canon 7D Ef-S 10-22 mm lens.
Two barns that I played in as a child on the property of my uncle George Earl Thompson on the Oconee side of the Keowee River. In the background on the Pickens side of the river is Gap Hill. All nowl under the waters of Lake Keowee. I made these two b & w photos in April of 1967.
At first when I saw the sun cut through the haze above the tree canopy I thought I was out of luck. Thankfully though, I grasped the opportunity to shoot something "a bit different". This is a section of Looking Glass Creek in the Pisgah National Forest above the falls.
